The Government of India has banned total 220 Chaines mobile apps on India. The Indian Government on Wednesday bans 118 more Chinese apps including PUBG Mobile. PUBG Mobile is one of the biggest name on this list. The Government said in the Statement. The move comes amid heightenedtension with China in Ladakh.
PUBG is a popular Chinese battle royale game, PUBG promises the "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" a highly coveted Chicken Dinner.
According to reports: The PUBG Mobile (Player Unknown's Battlegrounds) ranks the World's Top 5 Games with over 800 Million Downloads. There are close to 50 Million+ active PUBG Mobile players in India. And The PUBG Mobile clocks in some 13 Million daily users. And this is the last attack against of Chinese Apps.
Why PUBG Mobile Banned In India?
According to the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology, PUBG Mobile has been banned Under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. On ground that "They are engaged in activities which are prejudiced to sovereignty and integrity of India, Difence of India, Security of State and Public Order".
A release issued by The DOT (Department of Telecommunications) States that the game was banned after the India Cyber Crime Coordination Centre and Ministry of Home Affairs sent an exhaustive recommendations for blocking the apps.
